Mission BBQ

TWT Construction completed the full interior buildout of this new shell building for Mission BBQ in Mt. Dora, transforming a space that began with a dirt floor into a fully operational restaurant. The project included installation of underground plumbing and electrical systems, structural framing per tenant buildout documents, and a comprehensive commercial kitchen buildout featuring a new hood system and components.

The kitchen was outfitted with three Old Hickory smokers—two installed inside and one exterior unit—supporting Mission BBQ’s authentic cooking process. Interior finishes included upgraded tile, wall treatments, and custom paint elements, along with installation of branded artwork and décor that reflect the company’s patriotic theme. Exterior improvements featured coordinated paint finishes, branded elements, and installation of a flagpole, creating a strong and welcoming presence for the Mt. Dora community.
